Knighton Town Football Club is a Welsh football club founded in 1887, currently (as of 2006-07) playing in the Mid-Wales League (Level 3 in the Welsh pyramid system). They spent seven years in the 1990s at Level 2, playing in the Cymru Alliance but resigned during the 1998-99 season to return to local football.

In the Welsh Cup, Knighton Town have hosted Hereford United, and the ground has also staged Under 18 International between Wales and the Republic of Ireland in 1992.

Notable Players/Managers

Arthur Rowley manager of Knighton Town F. C. in the 1976. He was a legendary centre forward as a player who scored 433 goals in 619 games. Teams played for West Bromwich Albion, Fulham, Leicester City and Shrewsbury Town. He also managed Shrewsbury Town, Sheffield United, Southend United and Oswestry Town.
