Fawzi Bashir (born 6 May 1984) is a Omani football midfielder who plays for Al-Gharrafa. He is a member of the Oman national football team. Bashir has been a very key player for the Oman national team and his club team. He joined the national team at a very young age of 17, and amazingly was starting. Bashir has had the number 10 shirt since 2001 as well. He competeted in qualification for the 2002, 2006, and the 2010 World Cups. He also competed in the 2004 Asian Cup, and in the 2007 Asian Cup, as well as the 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2007 Gulf Cup of Nations.
