Iino, Fukushima

Iino (飯野町; -machi) was a town located in Date District, Fukushima, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 6,592 and a density of 309.34 persons per km². The total area is 21.31 km².

Iino-machi is famous for UFO's. A UFO museum is located at a nearby mountain.

The town merged into the city of Fukushima on July 1, 2008.
