Cavineña is an indigenous language spoken by over 1,000 Cavineño people. The language is being cultivated with many schools including a high school taught in Cavinenño which gives the language prospects for survival, many children are bilingual with Spanish. There are 15 teachers are 135 students, spoken along the Beni river in the northwest.
