Robert Remez

Robert Remez [http://www.columbia.edu/~remez/] is a leading American experimental psychologist, cognitive scientist and theoretician. He is best known for his work on perceptual organization, speech perception, and the use of the technique of sinewave synthesis in his experimental and theoretical work. He was the Ann Olin Whitney Professor of Psychology at Barnard College and is a member of the Board of Directors of Haskins Laboratories. He is a graduate of Brandeis University and the University of Connecticut.
