Joseph C. Battaglia

Joseph C. "Joe" Battaglia is an American lawyer, radio talk show host, and precious metals investment advisor.

Early life

Battaglia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California; he went on to earn his law degree from Loyola University Law School. He was engaged in the full-time practice of law from 1966 to 1979 before deciding to change his profession and become a precious metals investment advisor.

Battaglia received the "Coin Dealer" magazine "Man of the Year Award" in 1988 and has been a member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) since 1980 and 1991, respectively.

"The American Advisor"

Since 1994, Battaglia has been the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Goldline International, Inc., a precious metals investment firm; he is also the on-air personality for "The American Advisor" radio show and is the editor of the newsletter "The American Advisor". In that capacity, he has interviewed a wide variety of people on such topics as the U.S. economy, U.S. dollar, inflation, a return to the gold standard, gold as an investment, and silver as an investment. Notable interviewees have included Steve Forbes (Editor-in-chief of "Forbes Magazine") and Ron Paul (U.S. Representative and Presidential candidate).
