Pleiad Electra IPA|/ɪˈlɛktrə/ ofGreek mythology was one of the seven daughters of Atlas and Pleione. Electra was the wife ofCorythus . She was raped byZeus and gave birth toDardanus , who became the founder ofTroy , ancestor ofPriam and his house. According to one legend,Fact|date=May 2008 she was the lost Pleiad, disappearing in grief after the destruction of Troy.
