The following is a list of "Leave It to Beaver" episodes.

"Leave It to Beaver" was created by "Amos 'n' Andy" writers Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher. The series comprises 234, full-screen, black-and-white episodes, excluding the pilot. The show was televised from October 4 1957 to June 20 1963.

The pilot, titled "It's a Small World", aired on April 23, 1957. TV Land re-aired it on October 6, 2007, as part of their twenty-four-hour marathon to commemorate the show's 50th anniversary. Universal Studios Home Entertainment has released seasons one and two of the series on DVD Region 1. The pilot episode is included on the season-one DVD. It is expected the remaining four seasons will follow.

Theme tune

The show's playfully-bouncy theme tune, which became as much of a show trademark as Beaver's baseball cap or Eddie Haskell's false obsequiousness, was "The Toy Parade," composed by David Kahn, Melvyn Leonard, and Mort Greene. For the final season, however, the song was given a jazz-like arrangement by veteran composer/arranger Pete Rugolo.

eason 3: 1959-1960

eason 6: 1962-1963

The opening titles feature June, carrying a picnic basket, walking out the front door towards the car. Ward follows with a jug, and Wally with his beach towel is close behind. Beaver runs out last, slamming the door behind him. Ward, with June beside him and the boys in the rear seat, then backs the car out of the driveway. The camera zooms in for a close-up of Beaver.
