Balhaego

Balhaego(발해고, 渤海考) is a Balhae's history book written by Yu Deuk-gong who was a practical scientist (실학) at Joseon dynasty. It describes about the king of Balhae, the vassals of Balhae, geography and geology, government system, foods and clothing, etc. It is an early book argued that Balhae should be included as part of Korean history.
