Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School is a Lutheran college prep school in Brookville, New York. Founded in 1960, Long Island Lutheran serves 600 children in grades 6 through 12. It is recognized as a School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education.fact|date=October 2007
Also known as LuHi, the school pupils takes part in many activities with 14 Middle School sports and 17 High school sports. While LuHi is traditionally known for its storied basketball program, their football team has been given recent recognition on News 12 Long Island.
