The Mermen are a psychedelic surf band from San Francisco, California and formed in 1989. The Mermen have a fervent and loyal following of fans from around the world and are widely acclaimed by music critics.They are currently at work on their 7th studio disc,which has a tentatively scheduled release date of fall 2008.
