James J. Montague

James J. Montague was an early-20th-century U.S. writer and poet whose short, whimsical fiction pieces were often carried by the Bell Syndicate, a syndicator of content to such newspapers as The Washington Post. Montague's story "No Appreciation For This Bard," about an out-of-work press agent, was published in the Sunday magazine section of the January 27, 1924, Washington Post.
