Cayenne is an instrumental track by The Beatles on the 1995 album Anthology 1. Unlike most songs by Paul McCartney while he was in the Beatles, it wasn't credited to Lennon/McCartney, but just McCartney. The track was recorded at a jam at McCartney's house in 1960. Stuart Sutcliffe plays bass. Not much is known about the song. "Cayenne" may not even be the real name of it. On bootlegs, it has been misnamed "Looking Glass" and "Thinking Of Linking" (which is known not to be the real title, as it is well known that The Beatles did another unrelated track by that name). The version on the Anthology is shorter than the uncut version, which is two minutes and twenty-four seconds long. [ [ The Beatles Bible: Cayenne] Retrieved Aug. 18, 2008.]
