Retrograde labeling is a method used in
neuroscienceto examine projection of neurons by labeling the location where a bundle of cells project to.
Injection of special "beads" into
brainnuclei in anesthetized animals. Allow animals to survive for a few days and then, sacrifice. Visualize cells in the origin of projection through inverted fluorescence microscope.
