Gotland in theBaltic Sea . He grew up in the city ofVisby . His sweet left foot is also a good weapon - he can put in a good cross and is always dangerous when running at defenders.If Gerndt can continue his development he has a good chance of becoming one of the best player ever to come out from the island. Jesper Mattsson, a former Swedish international, used to play for Halmstads BK and Nottingham Forest is perhaps the most famous native Gotland footballer who managed to make the grade as a professional.
