T. D. Kendrick

Sir Thomas Downing Kendrick KCB (April 1, 1895 – November 2, 1979) was a British archaeologist.

He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford.

He was Director of the British Museum, from 1950, until he retired in 1959 [Sources: David M.
