Band and orchestra
The DJAMS band and
orchestra program, directed by Linda Price, has performed in many events and represented their school. As their biggest event, all students acquire the privilege to perform inDisneyland inAnaheim in every school year.Athletics
Physical education
The
physical education (P.E.) program is one of the best middle school programs in the district. Other schools come and visit the school to watch the program. Each grade level has its own curriculum. The school does not have a gym, but it does have a large field, basketball courts, a rockwall added in 2006, an aerobics and dance room, and a fitness room with plenty of exercise machines and equipment.
