Koshekhabl

Koshekhabl ( _ru. Кошехабль; _ad. Кощхьэблэ, "Kosh'h'eble") is a village ("aul") and the administrative center of Koshekhablsky District of the Republic of Adygea, Russia, located on the Bolshaya Laba River (Kuban's tributary), some km to mi|70 north-east of Maykop. Population: ru-census2002|7,309|.

The name "Koshekhabl" derives for Circassian words "Kosho" (a Shapsug family name) and "Habl" (meaning "neighborhood").

A branch of Adyghe State University operates in Koshekhabl.
