Abdus Sattar (West Bengal politician)

Abdus Sattar is a politician in West Bengal, India, belonging to the Communist Party of India (Marxist). After the 2006 West Bengal state assembly election (in which he was elected MLA from the Amdanga constituency) he became Minister of State for Minorities Development, Welfare and Madrasah Education [ [http://pd.cpim.org/2006/0521/05212006_bengal%20left%20ministry.htm Bengal Left Ministry ] ] Sattar is the president of the West Bengal Madrasah Board. Primarily he is a lecturer in Bengali literature and language and a research scholar of Rabindra literature
