The tiger pistol shrimp, Alpheus bellulus, is a species of snapping shrimp. It lives in symbiosis with gobies such as species of Amblyeleotris and Cryptocentrus.[1] It is also one of the loudest creatures on earth as the tiger pistol shrimp can emit a sound up to 200 decibels which it uses to stun its prey.
