KGJT-LP, channel 27, is the low-powered repeater for CBS affiliate KREX-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado. KGJT and KREX-TV are both owned by Hoak Media Corporation. Hoak Media also operates the Parker Broadcasting owned FOX affiliate KFQX via a LMA.

History

The station was originally affiliated with UPN, until that network folded in September 2006. After that date, KGJT affiliated with the new MyNetworkTV network. Following the switch, KGJT's programming became available on KREX-TV's digital signal.

On Sunday January 20, 2008 at approximately 8:45 AM, a fire knocked KREX, KFQX and KGJT off the air. The station's building and 50 years worth of archives are a total loss. Following the fire, KGJT began to simulcast KREX-TV's signal, except for Colorado Rockies baseball games on Sundays. It is currently unknown when KGJT will return as a separate station.
