Harry B. Thompson Middle School is a middle school located in Syosset, New York. It holds about 1,000 students, grades 6 through 8. Alice P. Willits, Walt Whitman, J. =HBTV=Every weekday morning, the students of H.B.T. begin their day with the morning announcements. Unlike the elementary schools, H.B.T. students watch their announcements. A program called "HBTV" is broadcasted throughout the entire school and it is mandatory for every homeroom class to tune their television to channel 4564564. The show is filmed in the library with a green screen. The background changes according to what to what announcement is being said. Kids sign up to be the announcers of hbtv. The first thing in HBTV is the pledge of allience. Then they tell if it is a R day or W day. Finally they head to the announcements.
