Ingbirchworth is a village in the metropolitan borough of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, England.

Ingbirchworth is a pritty and a rural area. Ingbirchworth has its own resavoir and the local pub or Inn is The fountain Inn a 4 star hotel as well as a resteraunt and bar with an area for a family atmosphere. The fountain Inn is also a very haunted location and has for many years changed managment hands. Ingbirchworth is situated 9 and a half miles from Barnsley. Close by is what most residents or previous residents call Scout Dike Camp, now Kingswood Peak Venture, opposite Scout Dike Reservoir.This is on the way to Penistone, pronounces PENNY-STONE. Ingbirchworth has its own Methodist Church. There are no corporate stores however there is a small corner shopping that sells all necessery items On Welthorne Avenue.
