"The Stranger Left No Card" is a British short film directed by Wendy Toye. Alan Badel plays the eponymous protagonist. The story, by Sidney Carroll, was later remade as "Stranger In Town" — an episode of television strand "Tales of the Unexpected" (also directed by Toye) — starring Derek Jacobi and Clive Swift. Suspenseful incidental music is provided by Muir Matheson, though the soundtrack is most remembered for the inclusion of Hugo Alfvén's "Swedish Rhapsody".
