Lucien Wulsin

Lucien Wulsin

Lucien Wulsin III is a descendant of the Baldwin Piano Wulsins of Cincinnati. He became president of Baldwin Piano Co. in 1961 and served in this capacity until 1974. During his tenure, Baldwin research contributed to American space flight, a 9-foot concert grand was unveiled, and Baldwin stock began trading on the NYSE. Wulsin was born in Cincinnati in 1916 and currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, where he serves as an original member of the board of trustees of Naropa University, grows roses, dances, and lives a quiet, poetic life. In 2006, a dance studio at the Nalanda campus of Naropa University was named after him in honor of his 90th birthday.
