John Rennie (editor)

John Rennie (b. 1959) became the seventh editor in chief of "Scientific American" magazine in late 1994, having been a member of the Board of Editors since 1989. He holds a bachelor of science degree in biology from Yale University. After graduating in 1981, he worked for some years as a researcher at Harvard Medical School, before he began his career as a science writer. He has done improv in New York and his home town of Boston.
