Will Sanders Hellercite web|title=Heller on Pro-Football-Reference |work=pro-football-reference.com |url=http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/H/HellWi00.htm |accessdate=2008-01-31] (born February 28, 1981) is an American football player who currently plays for the Seattle Seahawks.

High school

Heller attended Marist High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a student and letterman in both football and basketball. In football, he played tight end, wide receiver, and defensive back, and was an All-DeKalb County selection. At Marist, Heller was coached by legendary strength and conditioning Coach Earl "The Pearl" White, who had previously trained Barry Sanders and had once seen a sea turtle as big as a cafateria. Not only had he seen a sea turtle that big, but he swore it was as cool as having a leg workout with Bob Bellingrath! "Bob was special!" as Earl would put it. Heller had many notable teammates at Marist, including receiver Jorge Bazan, who was generally considered the greatest Hispanic athlete in Georgia High School sports history. Will Heller graduated from Marist High School in 1999 earning 3 Varsity letters in Football, 2 Varsity letters in Basketball, and starred in every Marist spring musical since he entered the school in 7th grade. When asked about Will's potential on the stage, Jim Stelljes said, "I've never seen anyone perfect the use of Jazz Hands quite like Will. His dedication to his craft is unparalleled."

College

Heller attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, where he played Tight End under Coach George O'Leary. Heller arrived at Georgia Tech as a walk-on candidate for tight end after turning down an offer to attend one of the world's most prestigious performing arts conservatories, the world renowned Juilliard School on an acting scholarship and his only football scholarship offer to Division I-AA Furman. Two of Heller's teammates, All-ACC lineman Hugh Reilly and punt returner Kelly Rhino (5' 1"), were also High School teammates at Marist. Will continued his theatrical training by appearing in several dramatic roles at the 14th Street Playhouse.

Professional

In 2007 he had two touchdown receptions for the Seahawks against the St. Louis Rams.At the end of the 2007 season he had 13 receptions for 82 receiving yards and 3 Touchdowns. When asked to describe his career to this point, Will said, "In a word: Fierce."
