Gartree High School is a popular co-educational middle school for children from the ages of ten to fourteen. The school is situated in Oadby, a residential area on the south side of Leicester. New School Rebuild

Building work to construct a new Gartree High School is now complete. The new building is on the same campus as the existing school. The old buildings will be demolished in the spring 2008 term, the resulting land being used for sports fields and car parking. They have now begun to knock the french, english, maths and the science rooms down (towards the west of the school)
