Each year the Alinta Wind Farm displaces 400,000 tonnes of greenhouse gases that would normally be produced by fossil fuel based power generation methods. This is the equivalent of removing 80,000 cars off the roads each year. [http://www.alinta.net.au/operations/retail/windFarm/]

Electricity produced by the wind farm is purchased by JackGreen for their GreenPower customers.
