Total electorate is 1561705 in 2007.Vijayawada lok sabha seat has seven assembly segments under it namely vijayawada(west),vijayawada(east),kankipadu,nandigama,mylavaram,Tiruvuru,jaggayyapet.After delimitation Vijayawada has 1348480 voters and seven assembly segments namely vijayawada(west),vijayawada(central)vijayawada(east),mylavaram,tiruvuru,jaggayyapet,nandigama.
