Sturdi-bilt

Sturdi-Bilt toy trucks were made by the "Product Engineering Company" (PECO) in Portland, Oregon starting in 1949-1950. Production ceased in the mid 1950s. These die-cast aluminum and zinc alloy trucks had a logo on the doors of a man flexing his muscles. On some unknown date, production shifted to Coquille, Oregon. The logo on the cab changed to a rectangular shaped one with Sturdi-Bilt.

These toys similar in style to those produced by "Smith-Miller" in California, and to the "All American" toy produced in Salem, Oregon. They are extremely large toys, exceeding 10 pounds in weight and 30 inches in length.
