*In May 2007, it was announced that El Al reached an agreement to lease six or seven aircraft from Boeing between 2011 and 2015 after canceling its option to buy eight Boeing 787 aircraft. It is currently unclear what model these aircraft will be. * On June 17, 2007, Boeing Commercial Airplanes president Scott Carson said the company was in preliminary discussions with American Airlines and Delta Air Lines, both large operators of the Boeing 767, for the 787. *Emirates Airline is in talks again with Boeing about the Boeing 787-10. According to the CEO of Boeing Scott Carson speaking at the Dubai Airshow he said that Boeing was not going to give up against the recent gigantic order by Emirates for 120 A350's. Emirates, if considered, might order at least 65 787-10's with options only if Boeing enters the variant into service. The order could be done in 2008 or 2009.
