Darebin is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Ivanhoe, on the Hurstbridge railway line. The station is in Metcard Zone 1 and is unmanned.

Facilities

Darebin station is located between Heidelberg Road and Salisbury Avenue, with station access from both.

The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (citybound) has a large brick building, while platform 2 (Hurstbridge bound) has a smaller brick building. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2.

History

Darebin station opened on May 8 1922.
