Heyington is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Toorak, on the Glen Waverley railway line. Heyington station is unmanned and is in Metcard Zone 1.
Facilities
The station is located in a cutting, between Heyington Place and St. Kevins College, with station access from both via steep steps and a footbridge at the UP end of the station, and because of this, it's the only station on the network not accessible for wheelchair users (except for a dedicated school entrance for students on the DOWN platform).
The station consists of two side platforms: Platform 1 (citybound) has a large weatherboard building, while platform 2 (Glen Waverley bound) has a small steel shelter. A large Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 1, which is able to dispense most ticketing options available and also accept notes and coins. A small Metcard machine is located at the entrance to platform 2.
