Russian Imperial Union Order

Russian Imperial Union Order

The Russian Imperial Union Order (Russkiy Imperskiy Soyuz Orden, Русский Имперский Союз - Орден, РИС-О) is a traditional Russian monarchist organization that was chartered in 1929 by white emigres living abroad. After the fall of the Soviet Union, the organization also gained chapters in the motherland.

The organization supports the claim of Maria Vladimirovna, Grand Duchess of Russia as the sole legitimate heir of the crown of Russia. The Union Order is also formally allied with The Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Russian Grand Priory Association, the surviving Russian priory of the Knights of Malta.
