The Mayo Senior Hurling Club Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association club competition between the clubs in County Mayo. The winners of the Mayo Championship are awarded the TJ Tyrrell Cup and qualify to represent their county in the Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship and in turn, if successful, go on to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship.

The role of honour is led by Tooreen but their East Mayo rivals Ballyhaunis have had the upper-hand since annexing their first championship in 2002, and have now gone on to complete a three-in-a-row feat after defeating James Stephens Ballina by a scoreline of 1-9 to 1-4.[1] but went down to Athleague of Roscommon in the first round of the Connacht Championship. The 2007 final saw a repeat of the previous year's pairing, with the title going to James Stephens Ballina.
