USS Wampanoag

Two ships in the United States Navy have borne the name USS "Wampanoag", for the tribe.

* The first "Wampanoag" was a screw-frigate, which was later renamed "Florida".

* The second "Wampanoag" (ATA-202) was an auxiliary ocean tug from 1944, and subsequently transferred to the United States Coast Guard and renamed "Comanche" (WMEC-202).
