Heredity (journal)

"Heredity" is a scientific journal concerned with heredity in a biological sense, i.e. genetics.It was founded by R.A. Fisher and C. D. Darlington in 1947. It is the official journal of The Genetics Society.

From 1996 the publishing was taken over by Nature Publishing Group (who also publish "Nature Genetics").

The "Journal of Heredity" is an entirely distinct publication. It was founded in 1903 and is currently published by the Oxford University Press.
