FK Mogren is a football club based in Budva, Montenegro, currently competing in the Montenegrin First League.

History

The club was founded in 1920.The Mogren at its inception called Budva FK, and from 1991 was called FK Mogren. Since the inception of the First Division of Montenegro in 2006, has participated in it, achieving third place in the 2007/08 season that earned him to contest the first round of the UEFA Cup, which was eliminated by the Israeli team Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona. Also in the 2007/08 season they won the Cup of Montenegro, the final by defeating FK Budućnost Podgorica. In 2008/09 they won the First Division classified further to challenge the European Champions League 2009/10. In the Champions League won in the first qualifying round to Hibernians of Malta for an aggregate score of 6–0. In the second qualifying round was eliminated outright by FC Copenhagen in Denmark for an aggregate score of 12–0. In 2010–11 season they took 3rd place that earned him to contest the first round of the UEFA Cup. In the UEFA Cup won in the first qualifying round to UE Santa Coloma of Andorra for an aggregate score of 5–0. In the second round was eliminated by Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C. for an aggregate score of 3–2.

Stadium

Stadion Mogren is a football stadium in Budva, Montenegro. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Mogren. The stadium holds 4,000 people. The stadium will be demolished soon, and on that place will be start works on new hotel, on which the roof (4th floor) will be situated new stadium, with capacity of 17.000 seats.
