Moser River is a small rural community named after the river on which it is situated. Moser River lies in the eastern part of Halifax Regional Municipality Nova Scotia on Trunk 7 Marine Drive 114 kilometres from Halifax . The community is on the head of Necum Teuch Harbour on the Atlantic Ocean . The main industries are fishing, forestry and tourism.

Education

Eastern Consolidated School is an elementary school that educates up to year 5. It was opened in 1956. For Grade 6 students go to Sheet Harbour Consolidated School and continue on to Junior High and High School at Duncan MacMillan High School in Sheet Harbour.
