Datuk Seri Dr Fong Chan Onn (1944 - ) is a Malaysian politician and the former Minister of Human Resources in the Malaysian federal cabinet. He is also one of the four vice-presidents of the Malaysian Chinese Association, a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.

Fong is the Member of Parliament for Alor Gajah, Melaka. He was the Malaysian Minister of Human Resources since December 1999. Fong's Ph.D. (1974) dissertation title is "The Multi-Region Dynamic Capacity Expansion Problem: Exact and Heuristic Approaches".
