Scimitar (also known as Anvil [VE3D, [http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/38946/Prince-of-Persia-Prodigy-CG-Trailer-Information-Overload "Prince of Persia 2008 Information Ubidays 2008"] ] ) is a game engine created by video game developer Ubisoft for use on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Technology

Claude Langlais (Technical Director of Ubisoft Montreal) says that modeling is done in 3dsMax for environment and ZBrush for characters.
