Plot Summary

The plot revolves around the characters of three teenagers living in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Bill (played by Eric Stoltz), just graduated from high school and just got his first apartment. His younger brother Jim (played by Ilan Mitchell-Smith), is a kid who likes to use pipe bombs to blow up things, especially a statue at the high school. Tom (played by Chris Penn), is portrayed as a crazy teen. Other important characters include Anita (played by Lea Thompson) who works at a donut shop and her good friend Eileen (played by Jenny Wright) who works at a trendy department store. Anita has a fling with a cop named David (played by Hart Bochner), who, unknown to Anita, is married. The three boys set out for a night of fun and craziness at a strip bar and later on have a party at Bill's apartment.
