Stuart Rothenberg is the editor and publisher of The Rothenberg Political Report, a Washington-based, biweekly, self-proclaimed non-partisan newsletter that reports on and analyzes the United States Presidential, House, Senatorial, and Gubernatorial elections and current political developments.

Rothenberg holds a B.A. from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut.

He has taught political science at Bucknell University Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C..

Rothenberg writes a twice-a-week column for Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, and his op-eds have appeared in "The Wall Street Journal", "The Washington Post", "The New York Times", and "The Orlando Sentinel".

A frequent soundbite on network television news, Rothenberg has appeared on "Meet the Press," "This Week," "The Today Show," "Nightline" and "The McLaughlin Group." He served as a CNN political analyst for over ten years, including extensive on-air election night analysis beginning in 1994. Last cycle, he also served as a political analyst for CBS News and for the Voice of America.

He is also a guest contributor for Political Wire.

Married with two children, Rothenberg resides in Potomac, Maryland.
