Bonawe

Bonawe

Bonawe ("Bun Abha" in Gaelic) is a village in Argyll and Bute, Scotland opposite Taynuilt on the north shore of Loch Etive, probably most famous for Bonawe Quarry.

The Bonawe Iron Foundry processed iron ore mined at Bonawe but is located across the loch in Taynuilt.
