The Type 92 Battalion Gun was a Japanese Howitzer that was widely used during the Second World War.

It was used by infantry battalions both for direct fire and for high angle support fire. It could fire high explosive (3.795 kg (8.37 lb)), armor piercing, and smoke rounds. Each infantry battalion included two Type 92 guns; therefore, the Type 92 was referred to as "Daitai Ho" (Battalion Artillery).
