The Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) is the agency that provides fire protection, rescue and emergency medical services for unincorporated Clark County, Nevada. The cities of Las Vegas, Boulder City, North Las Vegas, Henderson and Mesquite have their own fire departments but emergency management is provided by the county government.

Stations

The stations run by CCFD are:

  • Stations 11-29
  • Stations 31, 32, 34, 38, and 65
  • Stations 71-79 (Rural areas, may be staffed by volunteers)
  • Stations 80-85, 87 (Rural areas, may be staffed by volunteers)

Station numbers from 1-10 and 40-49 are used by the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue; 50-59 are used by the North Las Vegas Fire Department; and 90-99 are used by the Henderson Fire Department. Station 33 is used by Boulder City Fire Department while station 69 is used by the Mesquite Fire and Rescue Department for one of its three stations.[1]

Station 11

Station 11 is located on Las Vegas Boulevard.[2] The station houses a 500 gallon engine and a 200 gallon truck.[3]

Station 12

Station 12 is located on Industrial Road and provides coverage for the Strip.[2] The station houses a 500 gallon engine and a rescue vehicle.[3]

Station 13

Station 13 is located at McCarran International Airport and provides coverage for the airport.[2]

Station 18

Station 18 is located on Flamingo Road and the departments headquarters is located in the building.[2] The station houses two 500 gallon engines, a 200 gallon truck and two rescue vehicles.[3] Station 18 also houses the fire prevention division.

Station 32

Fire Station 32 started construction on July 10, 2008 and is located on the site of CityCenter. The $4,000,000 5,700-square-foot (530 m2) station and its equipment was paid for by MGM Mirage.[4] The Architect was Leo A. Daly, John Avery as Project Manager, while the Architect of Record was Winston Henderson Architects, Tom Penn Project Manager. The Construction Manager was Tishman Construction Corporation, Peter Schroeder, Sr. Project Manager. The General Contractor was Perini Building Company, Christine Callahan Project Manager, Sub-Contractor was Tooles Contracting Group, Cory Svejkovsky Project Manager.[5] The station opened on December 7, 2009 with the ribbon cutting on December 10, 2009.[6] The station houses a fire engine and a paramedic rescue unit.

Station 33

Station 33 opened on November 10, 2009 and is located at the Las Vegas Convention Center.[5][7] The station houses a 500 gallon engine.[8]

Station 66

Open on Mountain's Edge Parkway on October 2, 2008.[9]

Station 87

Station 87 is located on Las Vegas Boulevard south of the Las Vegas metropolitan area.[2] Located in Jean the station houses a rescue vehicle.[10]
