As of 16 May 2010 (2010 -05-16) Arthur has aired a total of 185 episodes at the end of season 15. The series began airing on September 2, 1996, and premiered season 15 on October 10, 2011. Seasons 1–8 were produced by Cinar, and the company was succeeded by the Cookie Jar Group, starting with season 9.

Meanwhile, Muffy is having a huge Christmas party and Francine can't come because celebrating Hanukkah with her family is more important to her. 
S2 "Arthur, It's Only Rock and Roll" September 1, 2002 (2002-09-01)
After Muffy and Francine watch a Backstreet Boys music video, Francine decides to host auditions for a rock band called "You Stink." She rejects Arthur, Buster, and George, who later start their own band called "We Stink." Meanwhile, Muffy is daydreaming about meeting Nick Carter. Muffy eventually joins the band as manager. The Backstreet Boys Made Special Guest Apperances. Notes: This episode was later adapted into an Arthur Adventure book.
