The choir is composed of grown men, who are professional singers, and boy choristers, grades three through eight, all of whom attend the nearby Saint Thomas Choir School.
St Mary's Cathedral Choir, Sydney The St Mary's Cathedral Choir is the oldest musical institution in Australia. In 1818 a group of choristers was formed to sing Vespers before the Blessed Sacrament in the Dempsey Household, the centre of Roman Catholic worship in Sydney as a penal colony.
Choir of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle The Choir of St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle has been in existence since 1348 and, with the exception of the Commonwealth period (1649-1660), has sung services in the Chapel continuously ever since.
