Highway 537 is a secondary highway located in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Its former northern terminus was at Highway 17 in the community of Wahnapitae, but is now at Finni Road, and its current southern terminus is at Highway 69, south of Wanup.

In 2010, the highway will end at an interchange with the new four-lane alignment of Highway 69, currently under construction. This will reduce the highway's length by approximately one kilometre.

The road acts as a very convenient and logical connector road between Highway 17 and Highway 69. It is also the main access road to the communities of Wanup and St. Cloud.

Highway 537 is paved for its entire 15 km length, as well as the 4 km that continues as Municipal Road 537.

The portion of Highway 537 from the current Highway 69 junction to Wanup is actually an old alignment of Highway 69 itself. At Wanup, Highway 69 then followed what is now known as Old Wanup Road back to the existing Highway 69 alignment approximately five kilometres northwest of the current 69/537 intersection. This road remains part of the provincial highway system under the unsigned 7000-series designation of Highway 7042.

On January 9, 2008 Highway 537 was closed to traffic from Highway 17 east to Highway 69 south, due to flooding from mild temperatures and heavy rain, which is very rare for that time of year. Downloading

In 1998, the full portion of the route which lay within the town of Nickel Centre, from Highway 17 to Finni Road, was downloaded to the Regional Municipality of Sudbury and became Regional Road 537. This shortened the road's length by 4 km (2.5 miles). Since the municipal amalgamation of 2001, the remainder of the highway now also falls within the city limits of Greater Sudbury, although no further route downloading has taken place as of 2008. It is now the only secondary highway in the province located within a jurisdiction which also maintains a municipal road system.
